So I started testing the waters of mining with my GTX1080, I know its not the ideal miner but its my gaming PC so I thought why not give it a shot while im not using it. Anyways, I did a bit of reading and switched from ETH and DCR mining to Mona as whattomine says its the most likely to make some money with. I'm using ccminer and I'm getting roughly 45-60MH/s at asicpool.info.

Current Monero XMR Mining Difficulty. What I'm wondering is as follows: Is there a better miner to use, and also, does anyone have opinions on what pool to mine, as I just picked the first one I found that has a nice dashboard and seems to work reasonably well. Also, I've got a second 1080 that I could toss into the system, but I'm not sure if I should just sell it for the cash or if its worthwhile to mine with 2 as opposed to 1. TL;DR: New to mining, using a GTX1080 trying to find the best monacoin pool to use and the best miner to go with. Some of you seem to not worry at all about the power costs when you're running multiple 1080-s and claim to have your psu-s as bottlenecks. Do you have super cheap electricity or something? Just started my first month of test-mining with 6x1070-s, although ETH currently. However I am aware that I won't be getting back my ~3400€ investment in the rig (it wasn't even bought with the cheapest parts possible), if I only mine ETH, so I'm also doing research on other altcoins and yes, whattomine.com suggests monacoin as one of the most profitable ones currently.
