After a recent threat update, my antivirus program (symantec) automatically deleted the Paccoin-qt.exe file, thinking that it's a virus. So my question is: it paccoin-qt.exe a virus? If not, how can the devs convince people that it is not? Hoping that it's just a false alarm, i made false positive submission to symantec but i am wondering if there has been a more official submission conducted by the paccoin team, assuming and hoping that it's just a false alarm? At this point, I can't put the exe file in the whitelist or disable the antivirus software which means that i can't access my wallet since i can't run the exe file. Does anyone know if i can just copy paste the contents of the paccoin folder to another pc and access my wallet? Unfortunately, i don't have the private keys.

I am just hoping that, they are not necessary in my case. I am in no way shape of form associated with pac but just wanted to drop this here. If you downloaded the wallet from the official pac site and it is their official wallet, most major antivirus software will still see it as a virus even if it doesn't have one. The same is true for wallets and mining software for other coin. It has to do with the fact that the wallet programs run and sync with the blockchain. Your antivirus software is always cautious of executables downloaded from the internet and most wallets and mining software are flagged as malicious. I have been lazy and haven't actually inspected or installed anything so I cannot tell you 100% if it contains a virus or not..
