Pci Dogecoin DOGE Miner

Maybe I can help. A riser is a cable that looks like the old IDE cables, it connects from your PCI-Express connection to your graphics card.
The riser allows you to raise the graphics card away from the motherboard, and allows you to space the GPU away from other GPU's. This is an example of a: • • • • The difference between the powered and un powered is that the powered, have an extra MOLEX connection to supply extra power directly into the GPU, bypassing the motherboard. The difference between 1x and 16x risers does not matter for GPU mining. All of the work takes place on the GPU, it does not use the PCI-E bus bandwith to any intensity. A 2.0 PCI-E 1x connection has a maximum bandwith of 500 MB/s, vs the 2.0 PCI-E 16x connection having a maximum bandwidth of 8,000 MB/s.
Jun 2, 2014 - Last week we discussed how Dogecoin forced its way into the spotlight. This week we are going to take a deeper look at what it takes to start rolling in Doge. Mining (or digging) is a very simple process and it's easy to get started. Anyone with a home computer can start doing it, although the level of success. New users: Our pools uses the general registration for all cryptocurrencies!
500 MB/s is plenty of bandwidth, also think about this. Since the GPU is not outputting the data to your monitor at a refresh rate of 60 MHz, it is outputting the work back to your pool, so the bottleneck would become your internet connection before the 1x riser becomes a bottleneck. Why would you want to use risers at all? When should I use powered vs unpowered risers? Once you have more than three GPU's on a motherboard, the power draw is too much for your 24 pin connection from the PSU to the motherboard. The PSU can definitely supply the power, but motherboard are just not made to supply that kind of power to GPU's.
Maybe in the future a manufacturer will supply motherboards with extra connections explicitly for supplying power to the GPU. I would recommend for any kind of dedicated mining rig that you purchase one riser for each GPU you plan on using. When should I use ribbon cables vs the USB risers? Ribbon cables come in the 1x to 16x variety, and the 16xto16x variety. The 16xto16x ribbon riser will allow you to play video games with all of those GPU's.
Who wouldn't want to put multiple GPU's into SLI and turn the graphics to max? If you were to try playing video games with the 1xto16x GPU there is just not enough lanes of bandwidth to allow that. On the downside these ribbon cables are large, clunky and they do not come in very long lengths. Keeping your GPU's right overtop of your motherboard.
When you purchase the USB riser cables, sofar they only come in the 1x to 16x variety. But the advantage of these cables is that you can place the GPU's just about anywhere and at a greater distance from the motherboard.. They also do not restrict airflow as the ribbons do, and they look much cooler. I am in the progress of switching from the ribbon risered cables to the USB risered cables. Just to get the GPU's away from my motherboard. The CPU still does generate heat and that has been increasing my GPU temperatures.
Once I get the USB risers I will be able to lift the GPUs up and away form any other heat source, such as CPU, and other GPU's. Done reading all that? Excellent work, I have found some other interesting threads for you to read'n'educate yourself. Here are some places to buy these risers. Id say dogemining needs this but its becoming an offshoot of this sub.
Great tutorials and valuable information are left with 1 to 0 votes while, 'HEY MY MINING RIG IS IN FRONT OF THE TV WHILE OLYMPIC HOCKEY GAMES ARE ON,' or 'LOOK AT MY $50,000 RIG YOU WILL NEVER AFFORD TO BUILD,' garner hundreds of votes. People think that dogemining is just this sub, but jerking to mining related topics, instead of the information expected on mining that it started out as. The circlejerking around here is at an all time high • • • •.
In the last 24 or even more hours Multipool has been having some serious problems, and that is causing problems for people mining for DOGE coins and other alternative scrypt cryptocurrencies as they do not know where else to mine them in a pool that automatically switches to the best and most profitable coin. But even if you are mining for DOGE coins directly, you might want to find a good alternative for mining instead of multipool. One such interesting place is – a mining pool much like multipool that also has its own crypto exchange, so you can save the trouble of transferring the coins to a separate exchange like Cryptsy for example.
Instead you can mine, trade the coins and withdraw them directly to your wallet all in one place. So far Coinex is working quite well and though it is not as big as Multipool or Cryptsy it seems to be much more stable. So if you are looking for alternative mining pool to Multipool, then do check Coinex now and start mining DOGE or other alternative cryptos there at least until multipool resolves their issues. Coinex, much like multipool, does have both SHA-256 and scrypt-based crypto mining options and you can either mine directly a coin you want or use the automatic switching option.
Furthermore the Coinex mining pools offer more options for alt coins that what multipool currently have, so more chances for higher profitability not only from DOGE, LOTO or MOON, but other alternative coins as well. The pool fee is Pool fee 2% which is a little higher than Multipool’s 1.5%, but between 0.5% higher fee of something than 1.5% of nothing the choice should be easy.
Another interesting alternative is, an LTC and alternative scrypt crypto mining pool where the coins currently mined are also automatically selected by the pool based on profitability. The difference however is that you are being payed directly in Litecoins, it is as if you are mining for LTC and you earn LTC from that plus you also get additional alternative crypto coin bonus based on the current profitability of the alt coins mined such as DOGE for example an that bonus you get also in LTC directly in your account. This saves you all the trouble and waiting of having to transfer the mined alternative crypto coins to an exchange and then trade them for LTC and the profitability you get is not that much lower than if you are mining alternatives and then trading them on an exchange.
DOGE coin is on the rise again, after being one of the best alternative scrypt-based crypto currencies to mine instead of LTC a few weeks ago. If you are currently mining LTC directly, then you should reconsider and start mining DOGE coin and after that selling the DOGE for LTC. This way you will make much better profit than directly mining for LTC coins, at the moment directly mining DOGE coins and selling for LTC you can double your profit. Simply said by mining DOGE coins you can end up with twice the profit than directly mining LTC coins at this moment and the profitability may go even higher than that.
So if you have GPUs mining for LTC switch them to mine DOGE for now. The other good thing about mining DOGE coins and trading them for LTC is that the LTC difficulty will not rise as much and in fact may even drop a bit, so it will be easier to mine Litecoins if and when DOGE is not that profitable anymore to mine. So definitely a win-win situation – you get about double profit and will make LTC easier to mine in the feature. Where to mine DOGE coins? – Where to sell DOGE coins?
Dogecoin (DOGE) is an open source peer-to-peer cryptocurrency, favored by Shiba Inus worldwide. The Dogecoing has already generated a lot of user attention being scrypt-based and offering higher profitability than direct mining of Litecoin (LTC), so many users are still mining DOGE and then trading it for LTC or BTC. Dogecoin (DOGE) is also often found in many multipools where the most profitable coin at the moment is being automatically mined in order to maximize the miner’s profit. DOGE is already becoming one of the most popular alternative crypto coins out there, so do not miss your chance to mine it now and make some extra profit.
