Some of you may be wondering what the hell is up, and well, the Electra block chain hit an unpredictable 'snag'. Due to the fact that the Electra mining pool requires 200 or so confirmations (or the blockchain? Not sure), after the PoW Bonanza ended, the blockchain stopped when it reached Proof-of-Stake. This is because nobody had yet received those coins, so nobody could stake those coins, so nobody could receive their coins, etc etc etc.

There were only 1-3 people who actually had Electra from before the Bonanza period that could stake once a day. So basically the blockchain stopped.

Some lost faith in Electra, but the Dev assured everyone he would work tirelessly to fix it/find a solution. A week or so after the issue arised, the Electra blockchain was hardforked (essentially altering the blockchains code) after the Bonanza period to create 2000 more Proof-of-Work blocks with a minor reward of 1 Electra. This allowed people to mine again, so the block confirmations could happen. The hardforked wallet/blockchain was done by bumbacoin, a developer of another coin (who received some of the premine as thanks for fixing the issue) Theres still currently some issues with the hard-forked wallet, such as 'ghost' blocks (the wallet thinks we're out of sync, when we're just on a forked blockchain and hit a snag). Long story short, problem solved! Things should resume to normal soon, coins will be received, and Electra holders will be able to stake.
