Verge Sub Market Discussion -. Exchanges • • • • •. Hello All, I just wanted to take a moment to say Welcome to the XVG community Sub-Reddit. Whether you are a long standing supporter of XVG or have just recently joined the fold it is good to have you here.
How much does it cost to start verge mining 4 days ago. PRIVACY COIN ON THE MARKET? Verge XVG cryptocurrency does not want to stop increasing in price. The first step in the process of buying Verge is to set up a Verge wallet that can store your Verge (XVG) coins following the purchase. The wallet will also be used.
Whether you are a Veteran supporter or are just joining us on our journey in developing and implementing a truly decentralized and privatized crypto-currency to the market, I am sure you have many questions you'd like answered. Please be aware that though I am not the primary or lead developer by any means I am a Sr.
Systems Engineer who has been working along side VergeDEV for multiple years along with a few other developers to help drive changes and implement key features to ensure that XVG is and will be one of the (If not only); True to Satoshis original white paper, Decentralized, Secure and privatized Crypto currency. As our market cap and daily volume has been increasing over the last few weeks, so have several very valid questions that deserve to be answered.
'Where is a whitepaper associated with Verge?' -Though XVG does not have a standing publicly available whitepaper there is one that has been in the works for some time now and should be being released soon. [time frame not yet established] (soon is relative to when VergeDEV has time available to release said paper) 'Who is the 'team' behind XVG that really drives the development and implementations?' • While there is no big 'team' behind XVG the main driving force behind this coin is DogeDarkDev as he is known on our BitcoinTalk thread or VergeDEV (@vergecurrency) on IRC/(twitter). He is the man who is 100% responsible for all feature implementations and upgrades.
He is a one man powerhouse and is continuously looking and digging for the latest and greatest technologies as well as their practical applications as it pertains to keeping XVG true to its core values. Though he is primarily working continuously to improve and update current and future feature sets he does take time out of his busy schedule to try and answer as many technical related questions on our technical XVG thread on BitcoinTalk. ( see: ) 'What is your role here CryptoRekt?' -My primary role here in XVG is to provide technical suggestions and to serve as a field beta tester for VergeDEV.
Mainly, however, I have been focusing my time on doing technical analysis on our current market standings, as well as attempting to drive social media interactions to gain more outside visability to potential investors. I have been a long standing believer in what VergeDEV is trying to accomplish with XVG since the beginning and have enjoyed being a supporter the entire journey.
'Why are we not on Poloniex?' • To put it simply: We have not been added to Poloniex (despite hundreds of people submitting requests) because Poloniex has not been adding new AltCoins. From my understanding and experience Poloniex's exchange had been suffering from massive trade lag and poor quality of service across the board. Their customer support team is extremely lack-luster and it just seems that Poloniex is not as good of a trading platform as it once was. The argument might then be said that if we were to be added to Poloniex our volume would MOON!
While this may or not be true in the sense that we would be put in front of a whole different crowd of traders - there has been a massive influx of people who are converting from using Poloniex to primarily trading on Bittrex. Even if we were to never be added to Poloniex; eventually their primary customer base is going to have already transitioned over to Bittrex - in which case XVG will be there ready and waiting. 'What is XVG's release roadmap/timeline?' • While a release timeline does in fact exist, it is not publicly available as of yet. The primary reason it has not been broadcasted is because a few of the standing releases to come such as RSK Smart contracts need to be thoroughly tested and vetted before being released or implemented into the production Wallets/environment.
Given that testing and implementation takes time, releasing a hard set deadline for releases is difficult to judge based on technologies that are cutting edge and have limited field testing. I am sure many of you can understand this. Rest assured though we will be releasing a Timeline soon just be advised that dates may fluctuate based on actual implementation time.
'What are RSK Smart Contracts? How Do They Mine Verge XVG there. ' Smart contracts are computer protocols that are able to facilitate, verify, or enforce the negotiation or performance of a contract. They are able to replicate logic that upholds contractual clauses, and should be partially/fully self-executing, and/or self-enforcing.
The aim of a smart contract is to achieve heightened security, as they are touted as being tamper proof, and minimize human error. In essence they have the ability to reduce financial transaction costs, and risk, through non-discriminatory execution. Which effectively brings on an additional layer of transaction security and expedited transaction times. Given the above stated information we will be one of the only currencies on the open market place to provide this service on top of the core fundamental services that are baked into our currency.
Closing: I hope this post helps to answer some of your burning questions. Please not that I will update this from time too time. Again, Thank you for being a part of our journey and Welcome to XVG. Cheers -Rekt • • • • •. Let me answer your questions hopefully it will clear all the misperceptions you have about Verge: 1- It s not 1 person that s in charge of 100% of the features.
At the beginning of the project they were 14 contributors today they are more than 30 contibutors worldwide. The project is open source and anyone can contribute to its developpement in case something happens of course that s your insurance. 2- they are today more than 30 contributors and i invite you to check them out on verge currency github or vergecurrency.com 3- icos and privately owned blockchains reveal id's and even resumes to gain credibility from investors. Verge isnt a private company or an ico. Verge is a open source project. As a open source project you do not need to reveal real identities of the contributors, however you still know who they are on the github list. 4- xvg is open source, it reveals its contributors on vergecurrency.com and github.
To give you an exemple, do you know the identity of satoshi nakomoto? Do you still use bitcoin? Do people can still make changes to bitcoin even tho we dont know the identity of satoshi?
Online SmartCash SMART Mining Site. Well that s the nature of open source. I hope now you understand more clearly. They are more than 30 contibutors on XVG. I invite you on the official telegram chat we are 3000+ members and XVG holders, including the dev.
